Getting back in the groove

First, a little something to keep you guys busy!

Next let’s talk a little bit about what I’ve been up to lately. First, I’ve been a little under the weather and it has affected some of the outside projects I’ve been trying to do. My music recording has all but stopped. I’ve been continuing with my video chat lessons and those are going very well but everything else has been kind of on a standstill

I’m getting back into the swing of things. I am looking at some outside projects I want to start on but the most exciting thing is that I have decided to gradually start opening back up and taking face-to-face students again. I’m only taking a few at a time right now and I have some guidelines that I want people to observe while at my studio but it’s gonna be good to actually see people in the studio again.

If you’re just tuning into my blog for the first time, here’s a little breakdown.

I am a private music instructor and I have a little studio that I had built on my property some years ago. I teach a variety of musical instruments to people of all ages. COVID-19 really put a hindrance on my work but through the miracle of the Internet I was able to keep my business open offering video chat lessons in the Facebook messenger and FaceTime formats. I have decided as of the last week of June 2020to begin to open up and take a few live students at a time while I deal with the learning curve of masks and sanitation in the studio. I really think it would be a bad idea to take all my students back all at once while I learn to do this. It’s got to be safety first. Anyway, it looks like I’m back for the duration and will hopefully update this blog a little bit more regularly. For those who have been following before, I apologize for the delay
